looking forward

While this past year has had its moments of high and low, I'm so excited about 2011! I don't want to dwell on the past, so I'm focusing on all the things I have planned for the upcoming year:

• traveling to Ireland and London this spring
• turning 18!!!
• graduating high school
• starting my freshman year at college

My resolutions this year aren't about any major goals (well, besides graduating and getting into college) and they're not really simple guidelines (like 2009's "fuck it"- which was fun for awhile). It's a new lifestyle, a new approach. It's my senior year/college freshman mind set. Now that I'm officially all done applying to colleges (except one), to be honest, school doesn't matter as much. All I want to focus on is my dancing and which college is giving me the most money. It seems shallow, but I want to go out more, hang out with my friends & new people, party more, and have more fun in general. As my parents keep telling me, "This is one of the most exciting times of your life. Don't let it pass you by!" Don't worry rents, I sure won't. :)
