i'm back (for now)!

Hello readers! Sorry for the three month hiatus. I've been super duper busy with school, dance, college stuff, and trying to have a social life! I'm on my winter break, so I actually have some time to kill- especially today and tomorrow while a huge snowstorm hammers the Northeast. Now that we're finally getting a substancial amount of snow, it's now time to talk about winter style. While it has been freezing the past few months, we still have three or more months of this cold weather ahead of us. Might as well embrace it now so we don't go crazy mid-January! So round up all your Christmas money and add these lively items to your winter part II shopping spree.

1. Sparkle: Whether on your earrings or a rockin' party dress, sparkle brightens up any outfit and adds an element of luxe. The perfect places for glimmer are on tops, dresses, and accessories. Or if you dare to wear a standout item- a sequin miniskirt.

2. Fur: For Christmas I recieved the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show Exclusive hoodie with faux fur inside. Fur not only keeps you very warm, but gives your outfit a fancy feel. Fur and sherling on hoodies, coats, vests, hats, and shoes will keep you toasty till spring.

3. Knits: Blanket cardigans, capes, circle scarves, long john leggings. Stay cozy and comfortable in soft cashmeres, merinos, and wools. Oversized sweaters and leggings are heaven.

4. Keep color: Don't resort to neutrals and the basic black and white scheme. Keep the rich jewels, bright pops of neon, and uplifting pastels in the mix of your otherwise boring color wheel.
