back to school?... what?

It's half way through July already... where has this summer even gone?!? I feel like I've just been traveling, and have barely done any summer-y things. With a month and a half left until senior year, I have auditions and placement testing coming up quickly. Summer doesn't really feel like summer anymore... it goes by way to quickly for it to totally sink in. I made a little list to keep myself in the summer mode.

Things I have yet to do this summer:
1. Get my license
2. Spend a day at beach (on the shore)
3. Hang out with a majority of my friends
4. Visit potential colleges (or do anything related to school)
5. Snag a few babysitting jobs
6. Party!
7. Get a really good tan
8. Stop stressing about school, the future, etc.

This realization came upon me when Abercrombie & Fitch, and all the other fellow stores, decided to email me about their back-to-school arrivals. I love fall shopping, but I will say this now: I refuse to think about back-to-school ANYTHING until about two weeks before school actually starts. Deal? Okay, deal. From now until then, you will see nothing but summer-y stuff.

    where has the summer gone?
    Your to-do list is great and I cant believe ANYBODY is thinking about back to school (even though it has been creeping around my thoughts).
    Im still enjoying the summer salesss :( shorts, tank tops, etc.

  2. I so totally agree with you. I can't bear to think of fall fashion or going back to uni just yet. My summer so far has been all about relaxing, going on holiday (luckily we had glorious weather the whole time, as the July weather in Norway has been terrible with way above normal amounts of wind and rain) and just enjoying the break.

  6. It doesn't really feel much like summer for me either :/ But then again I have summer school taking up half of my summer, and it's been cloudy most of summer so far! I really need to do majority of the same things on your list haha

  7. Love that girls feather skirt...gorgeous color. Don't stress too much, license test is easy, and looking at potential colleges is fun. This summer has gone by way too fast and I'm freaking out!!
